Careers Advice & Counselling

If you want help with your career direction, your performance in your studies or just have some personal concerns you can discuss it with the college counsellors. The counsellors are in room 2.05 in Building A.

Library and Library FLC

The library is on the ground floor of Building A.
You can call them on 9469 8530 or 9469 8532 or visit http://www.sydneytafe.edu.au/library/randwick
Library hours are 9am - 8pm on Monday to Thursday and 9am - 6pm on Friday. The Library is also open limited hours during TAFE NSW vacation periods.
The Library FLC is also on the Ground Floor of Building A and is an extension of the Library service. This area provides additional computer access, printing and photocopying, group study areas for students including a study room which can be booked by student, areas to watch DVDs and recreational library materials such as DVDs and paperbacks.
The centre is open from 9am - 6pm on Monday to Thursday and 9am - 5pm on Friday and is closed on public holidays and during TAFE NSW vacation periods.

Student e-services

This is an online service that is provided for students allowing review of TAFE results and other information about your enrolment and personal details. You can update your details if you change your address or phone number. The site is secure so you need your student ID and password to get into the e-services area. Student Association

The Student Assocation provides for activities, discounts and student amenities on campus.
You will find them in the building between Building A and the Canteen. Student Association announcements will be found on What's On@Randwick.

Fitness Centre

If you have an interest in physical well being and fitness the Fitness Centre may be of interest. It is located on the ground floor of Building B. Call in and discuss your needs with the teaching staff or contact Fitness Centre staff on 9469 8734.

Employment Service

The Student Association runs a Job Placement service which may assist you in finding work. Call into the Student Association for details.

Tutorial Support

If you need some support with your learning discuss it firstly with your class teacher. There are various means of assistance available for each area of study and your teacher can best advise your options.

Disabilities Support

We have Teacher/Consultants in our Disabilities Unit to assist with learning if you have a disability.
You can find them on level 1 in Building A.

First Aid

There are first aid officers on campus. Contact a teacher, customer service or security who will arrange assistance.


Security staff are on-campus at all times. If you have security concerns you can discuss these with your class teacher, customer service or security staff on patrol.

How to Use a Wiki

So what is a Wiki? You can see that it is a sort of internet site but what is not obvious is that it is a very flexible way of managing information that will help your learning. You may be using a Wiki for some of your classes so your teacher will tell you about how it will work for your group. Wikis are now often used in business for projects, work groups and general communication.
Randwiki is not intended to be edited by students at this stage.

Using a wiki is easy! You can even have your own wiki using any of the wiki providers on the internet.
